Friends For Life The work done by Friends For Life to help persons affected by HIV/AIDS live well is often recognized by community groups and organizations. Special recognition is always appreciated greatly by Friends For Life and the agency expresses its gratitude to these awarding organizations. Other ‘awards’ help keep the programs offered by the agency continue to touch the lives of thousands of persons. In 2009 Friends For Life received grant awards in the amount of $2,790,144 for these programs. An additional $1,626,654 was also awarded by various funding sources for Aloysius New Beginnings, the new housing facility being built to expand housing services by Friends For Life.

Friends For Life's website has been honored with a few awards since its launch in September 2003. The American Association of Webmasters said that our website displays "A nice clean Design and Layout of Website, with quality content and informative information for your visitors." Websites in these competitions are judged on content, functionality, graphics and usefulness to the general public.
